Differences between Seasonal Color Analysis and Color Draping
Seasonal Color Analysis is an analysis methodology that can be virtual or physical, to determine the color palette that best suits a person. But Color Draping is only a physical technique that seeks, through the testing of fabrics, to establish the color palette that best suits the person.
Color Draping can be done physically but not online and you must have the person with the color stylist, however, Seasonal Color Analysis does not need the person physically, only a photograph is needed. But Seasonal Color Analysis can still be applied physically as well.
The Seasonal Color Analysis is based on the methodology of the four seasons, and the 16 subseasons, to determine which one the person belongs to. Each subseason has its own specific color palette that is matched to the person to find harmony with their hair, skin and eyes.
In the case of Color Draping, it is not necessary to establish the color palette according to these seasons and it can be done by eye of what looks best on the person. So I like the Seasonal Color Analysis better.
And in this way I developed my own interpretation of the Seasonal Color Theory.
