Can you have several Color Seasons and be Neutral? đ€
Can you have a Color Season and still be neutral in colorimetry? Learn the specific case where this is possible and how to identify if it applies to you.
A few days ago, I talked about how to know if you have a neutral colorimetry. But there are still many aspects to analyze in order to fully understand the concept of being neutral in colorimetry.
One of those is figuring out whether you can have a Color Season and still be neutral at the same time.
And the answer is: Yes. You can have one or several Color Seasons and be neutral is your doubt color answer. đ
However, this only applies in a specific case.
Let me explain. There are two scenarios:
- The person is several Color Seaons and is neutral because their hair, skin, and eyes consistently share characteristics from all the Color Seasons (they would be at the center of the Color Season wheel).
- The person is several Color Seasons and is neutral because their hair, skin, and eyes change color parameters depending on how the light hits them. This type of person may appear warm in sunlight, cool under colder lighting, and may gain brightness or softness depending on the lighting conditions. In other words, they can look different depending on the light source â even like different seasons in different photos. đž
This second case is the typical one where someone takes pictures and looks like a different Color Season in each one.
Therefore, they might have several different Color Seasons, and thatâs what makes them neutral.
But in order for this person to be considered truly neutral, they must look like Summer, Winter, Autumn, and Spring in at least some of their photos.
This means that if they only ever look like Winter or Summer, they cannot be considered neutral, since they donât share traits from all four color seasons.
